| INTERNATIONAL ROSEN CENTRES
There are now Rosen Method schools available in 12 countries that offer the full training and the English training Institute is the new arrival in this world-wide federation.
The international aim is to offer training where part of the requirements can be taken abroad. This is an opportunity for students to encounter different cultures and customs and at the same time develop the essence of the Rosen Method in terms of being able to encounter differences openly and non-judgementally.

Rosen in the United States
Marion Rosen (1914-2012) was based in Berkeley California, where she settled after leaving Germany during WW2. Marion taught intensives, mainly in America although she traveled to Sweden twice a year to teach with Hans Axelson in Stockholm . Marion also continued her life work to train many new teachers, and see her private clients, as well as continuing to develop her work. There are many Rosen Centres in the U.S.A. from New York to New Mexico.

"We are not the only people bringing more peace and love into the world - but we are part of it..." - Marion Rosen |
Marion trained teachers herself, who pass on the work to new teachers, who pass it on.

Rosen in Scandinavia
Hans Axelson owns the largest bodywork academy in Scandinavia and became a keen exponent of the Rosen Method after receiving a treatment from Marion when she was teaching a class of his students in Stockholm. Since then, Hans has trained as a Rosen Method practitioner, accrediting Rosen with transforming his life and relationships. Hans taught with Marion in Berkeley and Scandinavia. Moved by the profoundly peaceful impact of touch in his own life, he has also developed the PEACEFUL TOUCH programme, taught in Scandinavian schools. Over 10,000 teachers are trained in facilitating daily mini massage sessions between the pupils. The calming connecting effect amongst the children enhances concentration and learning, reduces bullying and improves children's confidence and their ability to get along well together. Hans liaises with the Touch Institute based in Miami, USA and is also pioneering scientific research studies into the many benefits of the Rosen Method. Rosen is an extremely popular and well known approach to health in Scandinavia - the Norwegian princess is herself a trained physiotherapist and Rosen Method practitioner.
