Rosen Method Introductory Workshop, 8-9 May 2021
Discover the impact of touch for self awareness and emotional well-being.
A weekend workshop allows our nervous system to slow down so that we can sink into an inner place of safety and surrender. As relaxation occurs we can soften our barriers to life and to feeling reflected in unconscious habits of physical tension such as tight shoulders or headaches.
Open to newcomers to Rosen Method, no prior experience needed.
This workshop will introduce:
• The effect of conscious touch that is respectful and undemanding
• How to ‘speak’ to our bodies
• The connection between relaxation and the natural breath
• Verbal touch
• How emotions may manifest in the body
• The impact of kindness
The intensive is experiential; working in pairs, sharing, demonstrations, questions, touch exercises, small groups, etc.
