Information regarding Rosen Method and workshop participation (IMPORTANT INFORMATION – please read carefully.)

Participation in Rosen Method events is meant to be an educational process that enhances both personal and professional growth. Through Rosen Method bodywork, physical tensions can relax and emotions, feelings and memories may come into awareness in the process. Rosen work is normally experienced as profound and peaceful, even loving. However, this particular way of working is not suitable for individuals who need to maintain a rigid defence structure or a high degree of emotional stability. Rosen Method training is not recommended for those who have a history of long term psychiatric illness, have a history of repeated psychotic breaks or for persons currently in a crisis, or if you are addicted to drugs or alcohol. The excessive use of alcohol or other recreational drugs/stimulants during an intensive are counterproductive to the ethos of Rosen Method. They intefere with and destablise the personal process of allowing feelings to surface and are therefore not permitted to anyone wishing to participate in a course and take a session.

Please note that our courses and events are not intended to be psychotherapeutic in nature or to serve as a substitute for psychotherapy.

For participation in online or in-person workshops, you are responsible for your own physical and mental wellbeing. You have carefully considered the health advise above, your own needs and state of mind and body, and consent by your participation/payment to take part. Should you discover that the course is not for you, please take yourself off the course without delay, and let the teachers know of your decision.

No course refund is offered in such a case.

If you attend a workshop abroad that is organised by us; please make sure that you carefully enquire about all venue details and their suitability for your needs before booking. You should also be in good physical and mental health before booking a course abroad as health provision may not be available nearby and as available at short notice as in the UK. If in any doubt, please contact our office before booking.

Confidentiality agreement

When attending courses and workshops students are asked to sign a confidentiality agreement for the mutual benefit of all participants.
